The Goldstein Workstations were customized attempting to meet the minimum specifications for the Oculus DK2.  These machines are running an Education Version of Windows 10.  Come in and use them for 3D Design, Virtual Reality, 3D Scanning, or sUAS flight simulation.  Users are encouraged to bring and save to their own media (flash drive etc).  These workstations DO NOT have a CD Rom drive.

Goldstein workstations are designed for:  

  • Virtual Reality Experience/Development
  • 3D Sculpting/Design
  • 3D Scanning
  • small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) simulation

Additional support for the following will be coming soon:

  • 3D Printing
All other computing needs that are not listed above should be sought at the first come first served CCI computer lab.


Installing Software

Would you like to install personal software on the Goldstein Workstations?

  • Do you own the software license or have rights to access the software?
  • Does the software allow multiple installations?
  • The installation will not violate any terms of use or EULA?
  • Is the requested software open source or freeware?
  • Can the installation can be uninstalled at anytime without notice, recourse, or acknowledgement by the installing party?

If you can answer YES to most of these questions, your software or hardware may be a good candidate for installation on these systems.

It is a general policy that standalone single-seat software and hardware are not viable for installation on these systems.
