How to Find Articles

The resources provided in this section of the LibGuide are designed to help you locate periodical and scholarly journal articles for your classwork. To access any of these resources that are available electronically through FSU Libraries you will need to sign in through the off campus proxy.

Online Databases 
A list of useful databases at FSU including Library and Information Science specific databases as well as general mutlidisciplinary academic databases.

This page contains a listing of journals related to library and information studies that are available through FSU databases as well as open access journals. 

Here you can find a variety of tutorials for beginning your search and tips on navigating online databases.

What if my article is not online?

If the article you want is not available electronically you have options:

  1. First, contact The Desk at Goldstein Library and we will determine if the article is available online somewhere. Email us at or call (850)644-1803.
  2. Request it via Interlibrary Loan. See our ILL walkthrough for steps to do this.
