Charles Dickens, nicknamed Boz, was one of the most prolific of the Victorian writers and is still one of the most recognized names in literature.  Use this page to find primary and secondary resources for the study of Dickens and his works.

Dickens as Magazine Editor

Not only was Dickens a writer, but he also established two periodicals during his lifetime.  FSU has these periodicals available in print, microform and online.  Also listed here are any indices useful for finding authors and subjects within the periodicals.

Household words (1850-1859)

In addition to the indices specific to the magazines, both are also indexed in the online C19 index and the print Poole's index to periodical literature.
