Research Funder Public Access Policies: Policies by Agency

Research or funding agencies are increasingly implementing open access mandates that require researchers to make their peer-reviewed, published research available to the public. The terms and compliance of each mandate are set by the initiating agency.

Public Access to Data

Many of the mandates have requirements for data access as well as publications. For more information and resources on managing data, please visit our Data Management Research Guide or contact the STEM Data and Research Librarian Renaine Julian.
