Books, films, documents, and other materials about education can be found by searching the online FSU Library Catalog. A basic search gives the options to search by keyword, title, author, subject, ISBN, or call number. An advanced search allows you ro search by a combination of these fields and limit by format, language, location, and date.

Students living outside Leon County can request to have books from the FSU Libraries' collection or from other libraries mailed to them.  Use  the Interlibrary Loan form to request delivery of books.  

  • When registering for Interlibrary Loan, select "Distance Student" as your status.
  • Borrowing periods may vary depending on whether the book comes from FSU or from another library.
  • Books must be returned to the FSU Libraries either by mail or delivered in person.
  • Learn more about borrowing material from other libraries.

Students may also use their FSU card to borrow books from any of the state university or college libraries in Florida.

  • Compilations of essays or articles from scholars on similar subjects
  • Chronologies
