Using Omeka

Omeka.net is a web publishing platform that allows anyone with an account to create or collaborate on a website to display collections and build digital exhibits. No technical skills or special server requirements are necessary.

This guide will show you how to start your own Omeka.net website and create an online exhibit to display your work and scholarship.

A downloadable version of the Omeka software that you need server support for is available at http://omeka.org/. Omeka was developed by the Roy Rozenweig Center for History and New Media at George Mason University.
