Algorithm - a process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or other problem-solving operations, especially by a computer.
Bias - prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair.
Algorithm Bias - algorithmic bias describes systematic and repeatable errors in a computer system that create unfair outcomes, such as privileging one arbitrary group of users over others. Also, occurs when an algorithm produces results that are systemically prejudiced due to erroneous assumptions in the machine learning process.
Data Discrimination/Bias - bias that occurs when predefined data types or data sources are intentionally or unintentionally treated differently than others.
Implicit bias - bias that results from the tendency to process information based on unconscious associations and feelings, even when these are contrary to one’s conscious or declared beliefs
