How to Get the Full-Text of a Journal Article @ the FSU Libraries

LibKey Nomad, a browser plug-in, enables quick, one-click access to scholarly full-text articles offered by the FSU Libraries.  LibKey Nomad will connect you to literature discovered on the web, including publisher and journal websites, Wikipedia, PubMed, and more.

When installing LibKey Nomad on your browser, choose a browser, Internet browser, then at the Extensions page, click the "Add Extension" or "Get" button.  Then, at Select Organization, type Florida State University, and then select one.

Once you've added LibKey Nomad to your browser, check if the LibKey Nomad is turned on on the browser's extension page. When it is active, you'll see a green flame icon in the top bar.



Search an article at PubMed, Google Scholar, or journal sites. When FSU full-text content is accessible, a LibKey Nomad icon labeled “Download PDF Florida State University College of Medicine,” appears in the lower left corner of the screen. Click on the icon to get the full text. 

Tip:
EndNote Click is a free browser plugin that finds the best available PDF of an academic article while you browse. Especially when you are searching the Web of Science database, the browser plugin comes in handy.
