Guide to Resources for History and Philosophy of Science

About the Author

The Primary Sources section of this LibGuide was created by Michaela Westmoreland as a part of an internship with the Special Collections & Archives Research Center during the Spring of 2019. This LibGuide was created through a process which included researching, compiling, and reviewing a list of rare items held in the Special Collections & Archives Research Center pertaining to the history of science. She compiled a large collection of items which might be of interest to those using the LibGuide in hopes that these items would aid users in their search for research topics within their field of interest. Finding Aids and general reference terms were applied to these pages as she found that they are an excellent starting place for anyone who is searching for where to start in their research process. Although some of the individual science related figures within the guide are well known, a good number of them are obscure figures that she found interesting and hoped researchers would be interested in learning about as well.
