Diversity & Inclusion: Current Titles

A guide to books about diversity and inclusion by the FSU Libraries.

Welcome to the FSU Libraries subject guide for diversity! This guide supports the efforts of the Diversity & Inclusion Council at Florida State University by providing a selection of titles to broaden compassion and understanding between different groups of people.

Finding Books about Diversity

There are several ways to find books in the library, but one of the best ways is to search by subject. Subject headings allow you to find books that share a common topic.

Below are some pre-built searches for diversity titles using Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH), the standard for research libraries in the United States.

Current Titles

Below is a selection of books about diversity and inclusion available through the FSU Libraries. Titles with a blue hyperlink are available electronically. If you are on campus, no further action is necessary, but if you are off campus, you will need to log in first.

This guide was created by Blake Robinson (Scholars Commons Graduate Assistant, 2012-2013) in collaboration with Sarah Buck Kachaluba (Humanities Librarian) and Roy Ziegler (Associate Dean of Libraries for Collection Development).
