Offices

Research data management support is provided through partnerships and collaborations with different offices on campus.

Office of Digital Research and Scholarship: The Office of Digital Research and Scholarship is part of University Libraries and provides support, infrastructure, collaborative partnerships, and consulting for technology-inflected research in the areas of: digital humanities, academic publishing, data management, and digital pedagogy.

Office of Research Development: The Office of Research Development (ORD), a component of the Office of the Vice President for Research at Florida State University, serves as a resource for faculty seeking grant support. The office provides a variety of services including proposal development assistance, faculty partnership identification, as well as training opportunities for faculty who are new to grant seeking and grant writing. OPD also publishes funding notices and provides other research-related resources.

Research Computing Center The Research Computing Center at Florida State University enables research and education by maintaining a diverse campus cyber infrastructure and by providing training opportunities and dedicated consulting.

Center for Disease Control and Prevention
CDC datasets on health topics arranged by subject.
Data.gov
Data.gov contains over 300,000 datasets from a wide variety of agencies of the U.S. federal government and local governments.
World Bank Open Data
The World Bank Open Data site provides, "free and open access to data about development in countries around the globe." Among the datasets included are the World Development Indicators (WDI), Africa Development Indicators (ADI), Gender Statistics, Worldwide Governance Indicators, Global Economic Monitor (GEM), Education Statistics, etc. Most of the data is available in Arabic, French, Spanish and Chinese in addition to English.
UNdata
Statistical time series for countries from around the world covering a wide range of topics including Agriculture, Crime, Education, Employment, Energy, Environment, Health, HIV/AIDS, Human Development, Industry, Information and Communication Technology, National Accounts, Population, Refugees, Tourism, Trade, as well as the Millennium Development Goals indicators.

The Digital Curation Centre (DCC) is an internationally recognised Centre of expertise in digital curation with a focus on building capability and skills for research data management. The DCC provides expert advice and practical help to research organizations wanting to store, manage, protect and share digital research data.
