Center for the Advancement of Teaching

The Florida State University Center for the Advancement of Teaching seeks to recognize and cultivate learner-centered teaching throughout the university by providing support to faculty as they balance cutting-edge research with thoughtful teaching. They are available for consultations, so please reach out for support as you move to teaching remotely. You can contact CAT via email at pro-teaching@fsu.edu  and they will schedule an appointment.

In addition to consultation appointments, CAT also offers faculty reading groups on various topics relating to excellence in teaching. Please click here to access the current and previous listings of readings.
