Begin supplier research with a review of the company's 10K for any mention of key suppliers, partners, partnerships, or partnership initiatives.
You can search for a company's suppliers in newspapers and trade journals (See NEWS tab). Search the keywords "suppliers" or "supply chain." Also go beyond these keywords and search for new contracts, joint ventures, partnerships, or distributors. Other keywords that may be helpful are procurement, purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and outsourcing.
ProcurementIQ is a database of more than 1,000 procurement research reports providing essential data and analysis on pricing dynamics, product characteristics, supplier benchmarking, supply chain risks, and negotiation questions and tactics.
