To print at Strozier or Dirac, be sure to have FSU Cash loaded onto your card. It is 10¢ per page to print in black & white, and 25¢ per page to print in color. Scanning is free at FSU Libraries.
A call number is the code that shows you where something is on the shelf. They organize things by things like topic, region, year, or format. FSU Libraries uses Library of Congress classification.
Ask a staff member at the Scholar Support Desk if you need help finding books (or checkout the video below). You can also request items online to pick up from one of our many locations!
The Scholar Support Desks at Strozier and Dirac are where you can check out library materials! That includes study room keys, books found at the library or requested via pickup, course reserves, technology, and more. All you need is your FSU Card.
There are several opportunities available for undergraduate tutoring at both Strozier and Dirac.
At Strozier, walk-in tutoring is available on the main floor of Strozier by the Starbucks lounge and provided by the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE). Topics include chemistry, math, and physics.
The Reading-Writing Center (RWC) also provides assistance at Strozier. To ensure you get the help you need, we encourage you to make an appointment.
At Dirac, chemistry tutoring is provided by Alpha Chi Omega on the main floor near Starbucks.

While many of Special Collections & Archives' resources are online, their Research Center is located in Strozier Library on the main floor by the Scholar Support Desk. Make a research appointment to view unique items, such as cuneiform tablets, in their reading room! Virtual consultations are also available.
The GEOSET Initiative at Florida State University (FSU) is the original branch of a global initiative focused on the advancement of scholarly communications in science, engineering, and technology. Located in Dirac 207, GEOSET specializes in providing media services to the entire FSU community.
If you need assistance starting wanted to start a podcast, short video series, etc., all you need to do is submit a project request! A team member will then reach out to schedule a consultation with you. While the studio primarily serves faculty and graduate researchers, everyone at FSU is welcome and encouraged to reach out to us for help with their digital media projects.
Want to create video or podcasts yourself but don't have the equipment? Good news! The Media Suite at Dirac has everything you need to record and edit audio and video, including a green screen and an editing computer with two large 4k monitors.
The suite is located on the third floor of Dirac and is currently available for booking. Simply pick up the key at the Scholar Support Desk when it's time for your reservation.
