Getting Started

1. Go to https://guides.lib.fsu.edu/sciteai
2. If you are off-campus, use your FSU credential to log in.


Or, 
1. Go to https://scite.ai/ directly, then click on Log in.
2. Provide your FSU email and click on the OpenAthens option.
3. Select Florida State University from the drop-down menu

If you access the Scite through the libraries, you will see that your account was already created. No need for signup. 

In case you log in from Scite.ai site directly, and if you see the "sign up" button in the upper right corner of the landing page, 
1. Enter your full name and FSU email address.
2. Create a password for Scite. Do not use your password for your FSU credential.
3. Check the box for "I agree to terms and privacy policy." 
4. Sign up. 


 

 

1. Download Zotero (if you haven't already)

2. Navigate Products>Zotero Plugin>Scroll till you see the link to the plugin or visit: Scite: Zotero Plugin

3. Under Assets click the link indicating scite zotero plugin (xpi file)

4. Once you have downloaded that file then open Zotero

5. Navigate Tools>Plugins and click the gear icon in the top right

6. Click Install Plugin from File and choose the download file from step 3

Are You a Paid Subscriber of Scite?

If you currently have a paid subscription to Scite, you are eligible for getting a pro-rated refund. Contact their customer service to request a refund for FSU users.
