  • When you use an AI-powered tool for your research, it is important to verify the content and disclose the use to your instructors, collaborators and publishers. The scope and content of databases that AI-powered tools search limit the accuracy and completeness of AI-generated results. Moreover, these tools can inadvertently lead to plagiarism by generating content that directly copies existing work without giving proper credit or by incorporating ideas and findings from published material with inaccurate or missing citations. It is advisable to utilize AI tools in conjunction with traditional resources like library databases. Furthermore, it is recommended to start with original text and use AI to refine it.
