Foggy Mountain Breakdown: Earl Scruggs and a Who's Who of Banjo Players from 1971

This video brings a rush of childhood memories for me -- I heard almost every musician here LIVE at the many, many festivals, fiddler's conventions, and concerts. The lineup here: Earl Scruggs of Flatt and Scruggs (who originated Scruggs style banjo rolls, and wrote "Foggy Mountain Breakdown"), Sonny Osborne (Osborne Brothers), Bill Emerson (Country Gentlemen), JD Crowe (JD Crowe and the Kentucky Mountain Boys), Saburo Watanabe Inoue (Bluegrass 45), young fella, unidentified, Ralph Stanley (of Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys), unidentified (of Jimmy Martin and the Sunny Mountain Boys), unidentified, Rick Riman, JD Crowe again, Randy Scruggs, back to Earl.

This video has been edited -- not all of the original performance is here!
