Country Reports on Human Rights Practices for 2014
Search Strategy:
i. Straightforward research. Select a country from the Countries & Regions tab.
ii. Select Ethiopia as an example. Contains detailed report on human rights abuses on the country.
Freedom House
Search Strategy:
i. Click on the “Reports” tab.
ii. Under the “Signature Reports” heading, choose an indicator (Freedom on the Net, Freedom in the World, Freedom of the Press, Nations in Transit, Countries at the Crossroads, etc.).
iii. Select a country for an indicator of your choice.
- For example, click on "Nations in Transit". Select “Russia”. See the different scores for “Democracy”, “electoral process”, “civil society” etc.
World Bank Worldwide Governance Indicators
Search Strategy:
i. Click on the "Access Governance Indicators".
ii. Choose between "Interactive Data Access" and "Country Data Reports". On the right of the page, chose a country and an indicator.

Search Strategy:
i. Excellent resource for election monitoring in Africa.
ii. On the right of the page, click on “African Union Election Observation Mission Report”
iii. Search for a country of interest, example, “Zimbabwe”
iv. Select the English version of the report
