FSU Libraries welcomes researchers and scholars from the community. Here are some handy guidelines to know before your visit.
Visitors must be at least 18 years old to visit FSU Libraries unaccompanied. No unaccompanied minors are allowed inside the library.
Guest hours are from 7:30am-10:00pm with the last guest card being issued at 8:00pm.
An FSU ID is required to swipe in to the library as well as check out materials. Members of the public who wish to access the FSU libraries can obtain a guest card at the front desk by showing a form of valid photo ID such as a driver’s license, passport, or school ID.
Visitors to FSU's campus and libraries are invited to use our complimentary wifi. Please bring a cell phone and a wifi-enabled device to access this service.
There are only two guest computers available in both Strozier and Dirac libraries for researchers not affiliated with FSU. For this reason, we encourage visitors to bring a cell phone (for text message verification) and their own wifi-enabled device (like a laptop or tablet) for their research needs.
Public groups looking to schedule a general tour of Strozier library can contact Emily McClellan, the Student Engagement Specialist, at etmcclellan@fsu.edu. Visiting groups looking to tour libraries aside from Strozier can select the library they are looking to visit from our FSU Libraries page and contact those libraries directly.
Please keep in mind that we will best be able to assess and accommodate your requests if you have in mind the size of the tour group as well as approximate dates/times and goals for the tour!
