OneSearch searches all of the items owned by FSU Libraries (books, DVDs, government documents, newspapers, etc.) as well as individual journal articles from the hundreds of article databases to which FSU Libraries provides access. So you can use OneSearch to find books and articles.
To find information on a topic, enter your keywords on a topic.
To find a book, enter the book's title.
To find a journal article, enter the article's title.
After your search, you can narrow your results to books, articles, or to any number of resources by using the filters on the left and top.
Click on the title of a book to learn more about it, including in which library it is located and its call number for finding it on the shelf.
To request a book from another FSU Library, click on the "Request" link, enter "FSU Panama City (Florida) Campus" as the pick up location, and the send the request.
To access the full-text of an article, click on the title and click on one of several full-text links that appear.
You can read, download, and print the full text of the article.
When you find a book or article that works really well for your project, you can use the subject headings to find more resources just like it. Subject headings group like items together. All items on the same topic will have the same headings. Scroll down and click on the most relevant subject(s) to perform a new search.
After you click on the subject headings, you can add keywords to your search.
