This guide was created in response to the move to online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is meant to provide an overview of different tools and their potential uses in the classroom. This guide also provides information on whether FSU officially supports each tool, some background on the privacy of each tool, and information on how difficult it is to set up or maintain the tool, if you were to decide to use it in the classroom.
Please note that none of the tools in this guide is officially supported or endorsed by the FSU libraries. If you are interested in deploying one of these tools in your class, please contact Sarah Stanley at firstname.lastname@example.org and schedule a consultation. The Office of Digital Research and Scholarship may be able to advise you on how to configure the tool, but we cannot provide long-term support for its use in the classroom.
Additionally, this information might not always be perfectly up-to-date, so please exercise caution when using this guide, and read privacy policies and documentation before using a tool in your classroom.
