Safety While Abroad

Pickpocketing is the most common crime in most large cities throughout the world and it can happen anytime, anywhere.

Cell Phone/Internet Use

Student typically stay very "connected" while they are abroad. There are three primary methods for using a mobile device while abroad: signing up for an international plan with a major U.S. carrier, purchasing a SIM card, or using Wi-Fi to communicate through mobile applications such as Skype, FaceTime or Viber. Wireless internet access is available for student use at all extended campuses.
