Alerts for Academic Use: FSU Libraries' Collection Alerts

This guide is an informational tool on setting up notifications that alert individuals to information relevant to their interests.

Setting Up RSS Alerts with FSU Libraries Catalogue

Create an RSS Feed based off of your search criteria(s) to receive notifications regarding new materials added to FSU Libraries. It is a very simple process which will continuous allow for useful updates to anyone who takes the time to do it.

To begin, go to Library Website and select

Search for the items of interest to you. On the results page, select the RSS icon in the right of the screen  (Just below the Uborrow link).

This will allow you to add the RSS info or Subscribe for e-mail alerts when items meeting the criteria are added to FSU Libraries collection.

Once this is done, you will automatically receive updates when new materials are added tot he collection that fall under your preset search criteria as soon as they are added to FSU Libraries' collection!
