This database contains information on employment, education, and demographic characteristics of scientists and engineers in the United States. Data is collected from the National Survey of College Graduates (NSCG), the National Survey of Recent College Graduates (NSRCG), and the Survey of Doctorate Recipients (SDR).

The new NCSES Interactive Data Tool provides centralized data access for custom generation of statistics related to the science and engineering enterprise. New data continue to be added throughout 2018 and 2019 in the interactive data tool to replace the WebCASPAR and SESTAT systems and to include other NCSES data.
