FSU 3D Printer Directory

This guide can be used to find more information about the 3D printers on and off FSU campus.

"FSU COE: Tech Sandbox"

The Tech Sandbox is a tech facility where College of Education students can learn and practice using various instructional technologies in teaching, learning, assessment, and research. Their main focus is exploring the use of technology in education settings. They give tours and workshops for CoE students and faculty and have an extensive online repository of resources describing each device. All are encouraged to come and explore the tools and assess their suitability for educational purposes. 

3D Equipment:

  • Makerbot Replicator 
  • 3D pen
  • Materials: ABS, PLA
  • 123D on computer

Other Equipment:

  • Virtual reality
  • Interactive white boards
  • Gaming consoles

Additional Details:

  • No 3D printing requests taken
  • Anyone can come for a tour - drop-in or scheduled
    • Hold general tours and workshops
    • No 3D workshop, but will focus a tour on the 3D materials
  • Focused on giving CoE students experience with educational technologies for their classrooms
