Pop Lit Guide

 Pop Lit is located on the first floor next to the Starbucks Lounge in Strozier Library. It’s the perfect place to have a sip and read a book!

Short for Popular Literature, Pop Lit at Strozier Library provides access to newer fiction and nonfiction leisure books and media for all students at Florida State University. Library staff work together to acquire newly released books, bestsellers, and other popular titles from a range of genres, including: romance, horror, mystery, literary fiction, biographies, true crime, and more. We also have a sizeable collection of popular TV shows and movies on DVD!

Pop Lit has been funded by a variety of sources including the Student Government Association and FSU Libraries.

From 2017-2019, the Popular Literature Committee received an FSU President’s Diversity and Inclusion Mini-Grant to add titles to the Popular Literature collection that highlight or are written by and about people from diverse backgrounds and often underrepresented groups.
