The microfilm sets listed below are the U.S. Department of State’s "Central Files," made up of instructions and correspondence received from and sent to U.S. diplomatic posts abroad. They provide significant information on political, military, social, and economic developments for many countries and include minutes, interviews, letters, and translations of foreign documents.
The Foreign Relations of the United States (FRUS) series is a collection of official diplomatic correspondence between the United States and Foreign Governments that has been declassified. Strozier has access to the set both in print and through Hein Online. Additionally, there is a separate print index which focuses on the war years.
Volumes are divided by Presidential Administration and country, though there are also special volumes dedicated solely to conferences which occured during and after the war.
