What is Resource Sharing?

Resource Sharing at FSU Libraries provides you options to get materials you need for research when they aren't available through FSU Libraries catalog. It is comprised primarily of two services, UBorrow+, and Interlibrary Loan (ILL). While both of these help increase access to materials, there are some differences between how these services operate.

Resource Sharing Best Practices

Resource Sharing Best Practices:

  1. Have Shelf Care:

    • Treat all loaned materials with care and make sure to keep all paperwork with the item.

  2. Stay Shelf Aware:

    • Return all items by their due dates

  3. Check Your Shelf:

    • Monitor due dates, request renewals, and check the status of new requests by logging in to your account! Remember, UBorrow+ items will only appear on your FSU Libraries account, and ILL items will only appear in your ILLiad account.
