Learn how Resource Sharing at FSU Libraries helps you access the materials you need. Whether you're just getting started or are an experienced scholar, this guide will walk you through how UBorrow+ and Interlibrary Loan work to support your research!

General Resource Sharing FAQs

Depending on your need, you will contact Circulation for FSU items, Resource Sharing for items from other schools, and the Financials team for fines inquiries.

Your requested items will be available by default at Strozier. You can select different pickup options or LEDS delivery if eligible.

If a UBorrow+ request fails, try placing an ILL request. Resource Sharing will attempt to locate the item.

If you're eligible and registered for LEDS, both ILL and UBorrow+ items can be delivered to your departmental office. Select your preference per request for UBorrow+ and ILL materials, or set it as your desired delivery option for ILL's from withon your ILL account.

Return materials to inside book drops at Strozier, Dirac, Engineering, Medicine, or Music Libraries.

Depending on your need, Resource Sharing has different contacts for FSU scholars and other libraries.

UBorrow+ Specific FAQs

The UBorrow+ loan period is 90 days from the time the item arrives on campus from one of the 40 Florida public universities and colleges. If the item is filled by an external partner, the loan period is 16 weeks with no renewals. For more information, visit our FAQ:

Overdue UBorrow+ items cannot be renewed, and in the case of lost or damaged materials you will also receive a fine. Learn more by viewing our full FAQ:

UBorrow+ items supplied by one of the 40 Florida public universities and colleges are eligible for one renewal of 30 days, which can only be requested during the final 7 days of the initial loan period. Learn more by visiting our full FAQ:
