Secondary Monitors

These ultra-wide monitors are located on the first floor, near the Zimmerman Instruction Room. They are not computers, and therefore can only be used with a laptop.

  • Each monitor has both an HDMI and USB-C cable. The scholar does not need to check out a connection cable! Either cable can be used to connect to a laptop
    • For macs, the scholar will need to accept the prompt to connect to the external monitor
  • The power an input buttons are on the right-hand side of the monitor

Adjusting Projection and Monitor Settings

  • The quickest way to change the projection settings on windows is to press the windows key and "p" at the same time. You will then be able to choose whether to mirror the laptop screen or to extend the screen
  • To find more settings, right-click anywhere on the desktop and choose "display settings." You can then change the orientation of the monitors
  • You can adjust monitor settings by clicking on the Apple menu -> System Settings -> Displays in the sidebar
  • You can choose "Arrange" to change the orientation of the monitors
