Opening Procedures
- If locked, unlock each of the tech cabinets
- The tech cabinet keys are located in the lock box on the blue, central pillar in office suite 112 and are labeled Tech1 - Tech4
- Turn on the tech desk computer
- Open the desktop app "Firefox for Service Desk" and sign into Alma using your FSUID and password
- Open Microsoft Teams and sign in using your employee credentials
Care Clock Kiosk
- Open the Word Doc on the desktop titled "CARE Strozier Study Hours Kiosk"
- Ctrl + click on the URL in the Word Doc to open up the login page
- If the program doesn't automatically login, right-click on the "Username" box and select "Use Saved Login", then "care strozier kiosk"
- Select "Start Kiosk"
- Scroll down and select "CARE Strozier Library Study Time"
- Select "CARE Study Hall"
- If not already, resize the tab to fill the screen
Troubleshooting Internet Issues
- If the internet drops, the wireless dongle may be overheating
- Unplug the wireless dongle that is on the back of the computer, give it a minute to cool down, and plug it back in
Closing Procedures
- Lock each of the tech desk cabinets
- The tech cabinet keys are located in the lock box on the blue, central pillar in office suite 112 and are labeled Tech1 - Tech4
- Sign out of the tech desk computer to prevent the system holding onto any of your personal information, logins, etc.
