1st Floor Group Study Rooms

A laptop can be connected via HDMI

  • Set the source to HDMI 1
  • All setting changes can be done using the power button on the back right corner of the display
    • Press and hold the power button to turn on/off
    • Quickly press the power button to pull up the menu
    • Move the power button like a joystick to select different options
    • Press the power button to select an option

SMART Board Projectors

To Use the SMART Board:

  • Press the power button on the wall panel or on the projector itself
  • Use your fingers or SMART pens (which are available for checkout) to draw on the board
  • To save your notes, press the "Save" button on the wall panel to send to an email

To Connect a Laptop:

  • Connect your laptop to the wall panel via HDMI or VGA adapter, which are available for checkout
  • If the device does not connect automatically, press the "Source Search" button on the wall panel or projector and choose HDMI or VGA, respectively

 

Mondopads

To Use the Mondopad

  • A mouse, keyboard, and remote are available for checkout
  • If the display does not automatically login, use the username "libuser" and password "libraries"
  • Files can be saved to a USB drive or by being sent to an email address
    • All files stored locally will be deleted upon sign-out/restart

3rd Floor Study Rooms

Projectors

  • Connect your laptop to the wall panel via HDMI or VGA adapter
  • If the device does not connect automatically, press the "Source Search" button on the wall panel or projector and choose HDMI or VGA, respectively

Graduate and Faculty Group Study Rooms

Wall-Mounted Displays

  • Connecting a laptop to the display via HDMI or VGA is disabled
    • For those who want to connect a laptop to access files, they can email a file to themselves and pull it up on the display
  • A mouse and keyboard are in the room
  • Files can be saved to a USB drive or by being sent to an email address
    • All files stored locally will be deleted upon sign-out/restart

Mondopads

  • A laptop can be connected via HDMI
    • Change the source to HDMI1 or HDMI2
  • Alternatively, the display can be used as a computer
    • A mouse, keyboard, and remote are in the room
    • If the display does not automatically login, use the username "libuser" and password "libraries"
    • Files can be saved to a USB drive or by being sent to an email address
      • All files stored locally will be deleted upon sign-out/restart
