Econ Focus is the economics magazine of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. The quarterly publication covers economic issues affecting the Fifth Federal Reserve District and the nation.
This quarterly academic journal contains articles on monetary theory and policy, banking and finance, and the payment system. Its predecessor, Economic Review, was published from 1974 to 1992.
Commonly known as the Beige Book, this report is published eight times per year. Each Federal Reserve Bank gathers anecdotal information on current economic conditions in its District through reports from Bank and Branch directors and interviews with key business contacts, economists, market experts, and other sources.
